Seems whoever coded the awful software thought that "C:/Program Files/Electronic Arts/EA Desktop/EA Desktop/ Was a good thing to do. Oddly my default install for EA Desktop doesn't match those mentioned in the thread. Some of which should not be something that novices mess with IMO. Changing directories, reinstalling, running various apps.
